Speaking of malfunctions, I was yesterday lurking around in Strand bookstore's basement, between the self-help section. I have to say, the best laughs I've had reading book titles in a while. On my wish list: ''The Gentle Art of Verbal Self Defense'' by Suzette Algin and ''Becoming Normal'' by Mark Edick.
