Love Rye Rye's stage performance, the energy and the dancing... but for some reason her songs haven't really hit me. M.I.A. being one of my favorite artists out there, it's a bummer to admit that this song sucks. It seems to me like they're trying to create a hit song by force - and of course to turn Rye Rye into a hit selling pop star. The video though, is dope. Funnily, when I hear people talking about this video, they praise M.I.A.'s T-shirt, that says ''Fuck Google, Ask Me''. Cool T-shirt, but what about the song, and what about Rye Rye?
Cool stuff doesn't have to come from the other side of the planet, as we can witness from this brilliant video below. SMC Hoodrats, (yes a Finnish rap group rapping in Finnish) being by far the coolest thing I can think of in Finland right now. The video is also incredibly well done. I've watched it probably fifty times already. Props to Pablo Films for their amazing vision and work!
