I've been wanting to post this piece about Pamela Love's Fall 2010 jewelry collection since last March, when she held her press day at People's Revolution's showroom. Well, now that I've had all this time to get to know her collection, I can point out my favorite pieces of the bunch.
This season Miss Love was inspired by her road trip to Mexico. The ‘Day of the Dead’ and Mexican folk art served as the inspiration for her collection. Papel Picado’s tissue paper cut flags and ropes, were turned into gorgeous silver and brass jewelry. My favorite pieces were the wrap/rope bracelets, necklaces and rings.
This two-piece 'Papel Picado' necklace didn't make the cut at first sight, but totally loving this piece today :)
I'm fascinated of the beauty & simplicity of this wrap/rope jewelry. It looks amazing on.
Above, a single wrap rope ring and a three-finger wrap rope ring.
Below wrap rope bracelets in brass and silver.
