If you remember, growing up in Finland in the 80's we only had Rice Krispies and Corn Flakes (Weetabix and other 'adult' cereals don't count). When Coco Puffs arrived, that was sensational! So coming to the states as a kid, one of the most glorious moments where the never-ending CEREAL isles in the supermarkets. My ultimate favorite cereal was, Lucky Charms. After years not eating my favorite cereal, I bought a box of it but was hesitant to eat it, because I didn't want to ruin the perfect memory of the great sugary taste of it. After a week staring at the box in my kitchen, I decided to kill it. Luckily, the same ol' sweet sugary taste is still there. Lucky Charms are the best!
One of the most powerful fashion stories to me are the ones like this, shot by Mario Testino. Stories, where you take the fashion somewhere really authentic. Somewhere where 'fashion people', as designers and trend researchers go to get inspired for their new collections, or to resource fabrics - but where you don't see a sight of expensive designer clothes, and what we call or consider fashion (in the western world), or better said ruling trends of the moment. Soo strikingly beautiful and amazing!
