GOOD MORNING

I need a plane ticket to LA as soon as possible. Check out Opening Ceremony's newly launched store dedicated only to accessories in La Cienega, La.

This is like a candy shop for accessories lovers. And what about the decoration? I'm one of those 'adults' that has a hard time comprehending of being one. Even my taste for pretty much everything has remained kinda childish. I love to hang stuff in places where they shouldn't be, or to be a bit disorganized...yes, in purpose. I would love to have a big staircase in my house, just so I could pile all my shoes on top of it. I'm in love with the animal glass cases, shown below. That kind of a jewelry 'box' i would LOVE to have.

By choosing the young pop star to be the new face for the luxury brand Chanel, are they trying to market the brand for all the teens? I can so picture girls crying for a Chanel bag for Christmas present. Not that it is not happening already somewhere in the Orange County, but i'm afraid this phenomena will occur in normal working families. Sorry to be a party pooper, but don't you think so as well?
Anyways, I think Lily looks great in these ads, and it does make me want to own one of these bags. Marketing succeeded!
The inspiration for the shoot?

Johnny Depp, Pirate of The Caribbeans, Mary-Kate Olsen, John Lennon, Puss in Boots, Peasant... These are things that pop in to my head from these Japanese boys' style. <3

They look so cute with their nerdy looks! The boy in the middle looks like a mad house maid. He also looks like he could make me laugh my ass of with his crazy jokes. Of course I have no idea if he even owns a sense of humor... but no, wait I take that back! Of course he has to have one. A grumpy non-fun person would never be so care free and dress like this!
Those buffalo boots on the third guy are just sweet as a lollipop. A+ for the Buffalos! AND to complete this colorful nerd -ish look, what's the most important accessories? No, not the glasses that's way too hip. The back bag of course!!

Can't get away from showing some leopard print! All of them above look cute in their own way. The first girl on the left is rocking the Timberland boots with her long skirt. The combo looks great!
The Timbs craze is growing and growing again. Thanks to Kanye West that has been lately photographed wearing them all around town. Colette and Timberland just did a collaboration for the fashion forward French boutique, which of I'm not really into since the collabo could have been more creative than just changing the color of the ankle collar and laces, plus sticking the huge Colette logo on them. Hmm... what do you think about them?

Is one of the freshest models of the moment. She is also an actress and happens to be the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemnigway. In this 10-page spread shot by Alasdair McLellan for Vogue Russia August, Dree poses covered in beautiful luxurious jewelry. Most of the shots are pretty much Dree posing naked, at least showing her boobies. I wasn't too keen of these naked images, first because she looks scarely thin, and for some reason a bit sad. Second of all i'm just quite fed up with the fashion 'tit' shots, where you have to show a breast in order to make the fashion statement or some sort of an impact. Big yaaaaaawn! Anyways, check the whole spread from Vogue Russia's August issue. I posted here the three beautiful shots that I loved, and in which I think Dree Hemingway looks stunning.

Get a bleach pack and dye your eyebrows, and you'll get this fall's most fashion forward look in only few minutes.
The eyebrowless look has been in fashion magazines and on runways for years. For example, the eyebrow-less style is a signature look of Rick Owens's shows. Prada also erased eyebrows for fall. Models including Kristen McMenamy and Karen Elson are known for the look.

This falls best look is created by Givency on Adriana Lima: the super sexy kitten, one of the hottest Victoria's Secret's super models. Before this, I though it was impossible to erase that extreme sexiness of her, which she is famous for. But this ad proved me wrong! Bleaching Adriana Lima's eyebrows made her still look hot, but in a different way... In a high fashion way. I love the outcome!

Last night I finally got the long waited Michael Jackson's Live In Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour DVD that I ordered from Amazon.com. Everywhere else I had searched for it, it was sold out. This concert is the only concert by Jackson that has been released on DVD. The concert takes place in 1992 Bucharest, Romania.
I watched the DVD twice in a row and with goosebumps the entire time. My feet were bouncing still when I went to bed. I have to say though that my favorite Michael Jackson song, that makes the biggest impact on me every time I listen to the song is Man In The Mirror. It just has such an amazing message that applies in every day life. I'm telling you, every time I hear this song I get an amazing lift on my mood and spirit.
Check the video above, I really love the ending of the song when he sings it with the choir... and with such tensity and passion. WOW. If I would ever had seen this live, I think I would have fainted, because of it's enormous spiritual power.
Mine at the moment is the oh, so lovely and beautiful RhiRhi! She might have a great stylist to deliver her all the best goods in the market, but the minute she walks out of the door, it's her call what she puts on. You might have the bomb dress, but you can fuck up the whole outfit by simply picking the wrong pair of heels or jewelry. Fashion is sometimes like math. You miss one little detail and the whole outcome is just wrong.

This girl just has it. Whoever her make up artist is, damn she/he made a flawless job. I give this look an A+.

Wanna know how the real fashion industry works like? This is your chance! I'm eagerly waiting for this documentary about Anna Wintour's life to come out this fall. Wintour, Editor-in-chief of US Vogue is known as the ice queen of Fashion. Tough and cold as ice. This is the woman who dictates what will become a fashion trend and what will not. Since it's a documentary I'm expecting lots of crazy drama that occurs behind those close doors of Condé Nast.  Lauren Weisenberg, Anna Wintour's former personal assistant, wrote the novel The Devil Wears Prada (2003), which was later made into a successful movie... and naturally  twisted to be  funny and humorous  while being cruel at times. In the real world you would pretty much erase all the funny and humorous parts.
Since it's about Anna's life, the documentary could be quite fun and glamorous, of course. But I hope we get to see some real 'fashion moments', such as assistant's being humiliated, crying their hearts out, or getting fired because they messed up in getting the right color pink t-shirt. I mean even though the assistant probably got 20 different shades of pink tee's, there was the one exact pink missing, that the Fashion editor had in mind. See in the fashion industry, working as an assistant you really need to have SKILLS. And I don't mean about being smart, fast or having a great fashion eye. You have to be a mind reader

Minimarket's spring/summer '10 ''The Aquarium'' -collection's color scheme is fascinating! It brings me memories from my vacations, when snorkeling under warm, and crystal clear Caribbean water... The clothes look like a mix of corals, colorful fishes and beautiful sea plants. And how about those suede wedges?!

No fashion virgins here, that's for sure! Dior's Haute Couture Fall 2009. John Galliano seeked inspiration from Madonna's provocatively wild 1980's style. Love the outcome!

Great inspirational street styles from www.streetpeeper.com
Love the Gold Gym's vintage t-shirt that the girl is wearing. From the print, it seems like it's an original shirt from the 70's. Love the spirit and attitude of the girl in the middle. Oversized blazer w/ leather high waisted shorts look dashing on her. Men's XL vintage Hawaiian inspired floral print works great as a short dress. Pair it with some sweet sandals, and you're ready to turn heads on the street.

Love the 80's skater style vibe and the famous hairdo from the early 90's comedies, Class Act & House Party... It's been a WHILE since I saw those movies... I just remember them being mad funny.  Not to forget those awesome round leather Africa necklaces that we used to make and wear. Another addition to my DIY -list!

I adore one piece swimsuits. But where to wear them? Beach would be the place, but totally out of the question if you don't want to look like if you just dipped your arms and legs in a paint bucket. Yep, wacky tan lines are something I can't stand. No, I don't do indoor pools... And for a pool party I most likely would still choose a bikinis + shorts combo. Actually I don't remember the last time I pulled a one piece on... It must have been when I was around ten years old, my belly sticking out like a balloon and still managing to look cute. Gone are those days, that's why I rest my case with one pieces and enjoy them only trough the pages of mi loved fashion mags.

Another great street style blog to get inspired by! I Got really into the tall afro hairdo. It seems like not only boys in nyc are rocking it, Parisian model girls seem adapted the style as well. The Bill Cosby knits have slowly but surely kept coming into fashion, but hasn't reached the mass peak of the trend yet. But, I believe this will happen any time soon...
