Why is this beautiful insect called butterfly in english? Butter. Fly. None of them alone are really beautiful. Butterfly as a word sounds beautiful, because the object is. But still, why the heck it is called butterfly in English ?! Send me an e-mail, the one who knows...
I'm a bit bored, I admit. This tacky graphic design is by me. Soon I'm going to start calling myself a graphic designer / photographer (since the scenery picture is taken by me...) / stylist / editor / visual artist... I'm tripping now... due to the flu. Yes, I blame you, flu!
This morning I was listening to Basso -radio, and I heard a killer remix of Mary J Blige's ''Real Love'' -song, sampled/mixed by Gregg Gillis aka Girl Talk (I mean this dude is frickin' amazzzzing, check his stuff at www.myspace.com/girltalkmusic). He actually performed a DJ set here in Helsinki last thursday, but because I was working very late and had an early morning... I had to pass it. Sounds like a lame excuse, I know, but i'm a granny. Anyways, I was searching for the original, 1992 video from youtube. The Fashion is awesome! Love the kneepads, the hotpants and the oversize baseball shirts... I remember I had to get one of those as well. It said ''Georgia Bulldogs'' on the back and had a cute dog on the front... It was cute and I felt so darn cool...
Browsing trough the treasures of youtube I came across with the song performed by Christina Aguilera, when she was in the Mickey Mouse Club. This girl could sing probably the second she popped out of her mothers belly! I got goose bumps when watching this video. The quality sucks, but just bare with it 'till the end, it's so worth it.
