Trough Obama, many things have taken a different toll. Like for instance the American flag. A year ago it would have been a no-no to wear a jacket with the American flag printed on it. Today it represents something different, something to be proud of. And like all the major social and world events, this will reflect greatly on fashion as well. I found two photos from my picture archives, that I like ... unfortunately the Photographers remind unknown.
What a doll! This gorgeous girl from the Netherlands is the new face on PRADA's S/S '09 advertisements. She just appeared on a beautiful fashion spread in January's Italian Vogue shot by Steven Meisel (photo below from the spread). And she got 12 excellent shows under her belt During NYC Fashion Week.
